While working on Saturday I found out my manager had mixed up the schedule and I no longer had to work on Sunday! Good thing because I would have showed up to work at 7:30am yesterday, for no reason! My boyfriend and I woke up yesterday and decided to drive to Homestead, near Miami, to visit Coral Castle Museum. I had never heard of it until yesterday. Alex had gone with his family when he was young. You may have seen it on Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. (Here's a video clip!)
After a 3 hour trip we were there! It was a pretty awesome. We followed the tour guide around and learned about the different sculptures and how Ed Leedskalnin may have built the mysterious place.
